Oshiomhole Questions Akpabio’s Eligibility as Senate President

Senator Adams Oshiomhole has argued that the current Senate Standing Order does not support Godswill Akpabio’s position as Senate President.
Speaking on Arise TV, the Edo North lawmaker said Akpabio has not completed the required years in the Senate to qualify for the role. He maintained that any mistake made in the leadership selection process should be corrected, warning that such policies could encourage dictatorship.
Oshiomhole also backed calls for a review of the Senate Standing Order amendment debate.
