APC Appeal Panel Upholds Disqualification of Fubara-Backed Assembly Aspirants
The Rivers State APC House of Assembly Screening Appeal Committee has upheld the disqualification of several aspirants reportedly loyal to Governor Siminalayi Fubara.
Out of 98 aspirants screened, 33 were cleared while 65 failed the screening process. Committee chairman Abdul Mahmud disclosed that 19 appeals have so far been received from affected aspirants, with submissions expected to close on Wednesday.
