Kanayo O. Kanayo, Sola Sobowale Receive Lifetime Recognition at AMVCA 2026
Veteran Nollywood stars Kanayo O. Kanayo and Sola Sobowale have been honoured with the Industry Merit Award at the 2026 edition of the Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards.
The respected actors received the prestigious recognition during the 12th AMVCA ceremony held at Eko Hotel and Suites on Saturday night.
The award celebrates their outstanding contributions and lasting influence in Nollywood over the years.
While receiving her award, Sola Sobowale expressed gratitude to God, her fans, colleagues, and especially her children for supporting her career journey and making motherhood easier for her.
