Galatasaray Executive Reveals Arsenal Were Shocked by Victor Osimhen Deal
Galatasaray vice-president Abdullah Kavukcu has revealed that Andrea Berta was surprised by the massive financial package involved in keeping Victor Osimhen at the Turkish club.
According to Kavukcu, the Arsenal sporting director was stunned after learning about the huge investment made by Galatasaray to secure the Nigerian striker permanently from Napoli.
Osimhen reportedly signed a four-year contract worth around €159 million in total, including salary, bonuses, and image rights. The Turkish giants activated his €75 million release clause after an impressive loan spell.
Kavukcu also insisted the club has no intention of selling the Super Eagles star, even if a €150 million offer arrives, adding that Osimhen has become a major commercial success for the club through sponsorship and advertising deals.
