Former Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) president, Amaju Pinnick, has been appointed as Special Adviser to the President of the Confederation of African Football (CAF), Patrice Motsepe.
The appointment was officially approved by CAF’s Executive Committee during a meeting held on Saturday.
As Special Adviser, Pinnick, 54, will now play an active role in shaping football policy across the continent and will attend CAF executive meetings. His new role is seen as a recognition of his significant contributions to African football development over the years.
