Gunmen Attack Ekiti Crusade, Kill Pastor, Kidnap Worshippers

Panic gripped Eda Oniyo community in Ilejemeje Local Government Area of Ekiti State after armed men invaded a church programme on Tuesday evening.
The attackers reportedly stormed an open-air crusade held on the outskirts of the town, firing gunshots and killing a pastor on the spot. Several worshippers, including women, children, and the elderly, were abducted during the raid.
Eyewitnesses said the gunmen arrived in large numbers, heavily armed, and operated for several minutes before escaping with their victims into a nearby forest.
As of the time of this report, attempts to reach the police spokesperson, Sunday Abutu, for an official response were unsuccessful, as calls and messages were not answered.
