“Tinubu Backs Gulf Nations, Condemns Iran Conflict, Calls for Global Peace and Unity”
President Bola Tinubu has reaffirmed Nigeria’s commitment to global peace, condemning the ongoing conflict involving Iran while expressing strong solidarity with Gulf nations affected by recent attacks.
Speaking at the State House in Abuja, the president extended support to countries including Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain, Oman, and Jordan, praising their resilience and restraint amid rising tensions.
The remarks were made during a diplomatic meeting where Tinubu received letters of credence from several ambassadors and high commissioners, as confirmed by presidential spokesman Bayo Onanuga.
Tinubu stressed that Nigeria remains committed to promoting peace, stability, and cooperation on the global stage. He noted that the world urgently needs unity, love, and tranquillity, urging nations to work together in addressing growing international challenges.
The president further emphasized that Nigeria’s foreign policy will continue to guide its engagement with other countries, focusing on mutual benefits and collective efforts to resolve global crises.
