“Please Leave Politics” — Peller Sends Emotional Message to Davido Ahead of 2026 Osun Election

Popular Nigerian content creator and streamer Peller has sent an emotional message to Afrobeats superstar Davido, urging him to stay away from politics ahead of the 2026 Osun State governorship election.
Peller, who recalled Davido’s congratulatory message to him and his wife following their wedding, appealed to fans and supporters to join him in encouraging the singer to leave politics, expressing concerns over reports of possible violence surrounding the election.
“God will bless Davido. He congratulated me and my wife for our wedding. Please, guys, help us beg him to leave politics,” Peller said.
He added that he had heard claims that there could be violence during the election, stressing that he does not want anything to happen to Davido.
“They said there’s going to be war in Osun State this coming election. We love him and we don’t want to lose him now,” he added.
Davido, whose real name is David Adeleke, is from Osun State and has publicly shown interest in political issues in the state.
