The newly released track directly criticizes President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration, spotlighting Nigeria’s worsening economic situation and rising insecurity. In the lyrics, veteran rapper Eedris Abdulkareem appeals to the President’s son, Seyi Tinubu, urging him to speak to his father on behalf of suffering Nigerians.

“Seyi, tell your papa country hard. Tell your papa people dey die. Tell your papa this one don pass jagajaga,” Abdulkareem raps in the politically charged single.

He continues, “Seyi, how far? I swear your papa no try. Too much empty promises. On behalf of Nigerians, take our message to him; kidnappers dey kill Nigerians.”

The artist also challenges Seyi Tinubu to experience life without presidential privileges: “Seyi, try travel by road without your security make you feel the pains of fellow Nigerians. You dey fly private jets, insecurity no be your problem.”

In response to the growing attention the song has garnered, the NBC issued a circular instructing media organizations across Nigeria to refrain from airing the track on radio or television, citing violations of broadcast regulations.

The ban has since sparked debates on free speech, censorship, and the role of artists in political activism in Nigeria.
