The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) has officially opened its online portal for the 2025 recruitment exercise into Nigeria’s four major paramilitary agencies. Interested applicants can now apply for positions in the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS), Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Federal Fire Service (FFS), and the Nigerian Correctional Service (NCoS).

The application process, which commenced on Monday, July 14, 2025, will end on August 4, 2025. All eligible Nigerians are encouraged to apply before the deadline.

Who Can Apply?

To qualify, applicants must:

  • Be a Nigerian citizen by birth
  • Be between 18 and 35 years old
  • Be physically and mentally fit
  • Have a minimum height of 1.65m for males and 1.60m for females
  • Have no criminal record

Required Documents

Applicants must upload the following documents:

  • Birth certificate
  • National Identification Number (NIN) slip
  • Certificate of origin (Indigene letter)
  • Educational certificates

Step 2: Choose a Service and Qualification
Select the paramilitary agency you want to apply for (Immigration, Civil Defence, Fire, or Correctional Service). Choose your highest academic qualification and browse through available job roles.

Step 3: Provide Identification Details
Enter your valid National Identification Number (NIN). Provide an active phone number for verification and communication purposes.

Step 4: Fill in Personal and Educational Details
Complete the application form with accurate personal information. Upload the required documents (JPEG or PNG format, maximum 100KB per file), including your birth certificate, NIN slip, indigene letter, and academic certificates.

Step 5: Review and Submit
Preview your completed application to ensure all details are correct. Submit your application before August 4, 2025, and print the application slip or check your email for confirmation.
