Wizkid’s Associate Tufab Accuses Davido of Threatening His Life

Tufab, a close associate of Afrobeats star Wizkid, has accused fellow singer Davido of threatening his life.
The allegation surfaced on Wednesday after Tufab shared screenshots of alleged messages from Davido in a viral post on X (formerly Twitter).
In the messages, Davido reportedly warned Tufab over claims that he had been referred to as “Osakpolo,” a nickname the singer said he disliked. He allegedly went further to reference fraternity ties, describing himself as “Aye” and labeling Tufab as a “Bird.”
One of the purported messages read:
“My name is not Osakpolo. I’m warning you. Ok continue. That’s all I will say. I dey warn you. Wetin wan happen. U be Bird, I be Aye. Make we play the game.”
Responding, Tufab denied ever using the nickname or belonging to any cult group.
He wrote:
“But I didn’t even call you that. And please stop warning me bro. I’ve never said anything hurtful to you. I am not affiliated with any cult or fraternity. As you can see in this screenshot, I’m being threatened. My life is under threat and if anything happens to me, y’all know who to hold responsible.”
The post has stirred heated reactions on X, with several users criticizing Davido and calling for the matter to be taken seriously.
