Three-Vehicle Crash Causes Traffic Backlog on Gbagada Expressway

A multiple-vehicle accident involving a car and two trucks caused a traffic backlog on the Gbagada Expressway in Lagos on Thursday morning.
The crash occurred at the Gbagada Ramp Bridge connecting to Ifako, resulting in an obstruction along the access road.
The Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA) disclosed the incident in a post on its X handle, stating that no casualties were recorded.
According to the agency, safety cones were deployed at the scene to warn motorists, while rescue personnel commenced efforts to evacuate the vehicles and clear the obstruction.
LASTMA later confirmed that all three vehicles involved in the crash had been removed from the location and normal traffic had been restored.
The agency urged motorists to exercise caution and remain patient when approaching accident-prone areas.
