The Gospel Is Not Visions and Dreams” — Abel Damina Tackles Arome Osayi

Nigerian pastor Abel Damina has criticised Apostle Arome Osayi over accounts of alleged personal encounters with Jesus Christ, questioning the biblical basis of such experiences and warning Christians against placing excessive emphasis on visions and dreams.
According to Damina, the number of inquiries he received about the issue prompted him to address the matter publicly rather than respond to individual messages.
The pastor’s remarks have brought renewed attention to discussions within Christian circles about the role of supernatural encounters, personal revelations and biblical teachings in the Christian faith.

While some Christians regard visions and dreams as ways God can communicate with people, others stress that personal spiritual experiences must be examined in the light of Scripture.
The debate raises an important question among believers: Should Christians place greater emphasis on personal spiritual encounters or on the message of the Gospel as revealed in the Bible?
The comments are likely to generate further discussions among Christians about biblical authority, spiritual experiences and the interpretation of Scripture.
