Addressing the graduates, Managing Director/CEO, Kayode Lawal, charged them to embrace continuous learning and adaptability in an increasingly technology-driven world.
“Never stop learning, because life never stops teaching,” he said, highlighting the rapid shift from traditional systems to an era powered by artificial intelligence and digital innovation.
He stressed that staying relevant in today’s financial landscape requires constant skill development, adaptability, and a forward-thinking mindset.
Lawal also underscored the importance of integrity, describing it as the foundation of a successful banking career. He urged the graduates to uphold strong ethical standards, noting that trust and reputation remain the most valuable assets in the industry.
In addition, he encouraged disciplined financial habits, humility, and gratitude, reminding them that true success goes beyond career achievements to include strong values and continuous personal growth.
The PGIT and PTIP programmes are designed to provide intensive training in banking and technology, consistently producing high-performing professionals equipped to meet the demands of a dynamic financial ecosystem.
