July 28, 2025 – Portuguese forward João Félix is set to leave Chelsea after receiving a two-year contract offer from Saudi Pro League giants Al-Nassr, where he will join fellow countryman and global football icon Cristiano Ronaldo.
According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Félix has been offered a deal that will keep him at Al-Nassr until June 2027, marking a new chapter in his career after struggling to find consistent form in European football.
Félix, 25, spent the previous season on loan at AC Milan in Italy’s Serie A but failed to make a lasting impact. Now, the former Atlético Madrid star is preparing for a permanent exit from the Premier League, where he has failed to solidify his role as a regular starter at Chelsea.
The attacker joined Chelsea from LaLiga side Atlético Madrid but has faced challenges in adapting to the physical and tactical demands of English football. Despite flashes of brilliance, Félix has not met expectations at Stamford Bridge and is now poised for a fresh start in the Middle East.
At Al-Nassr, Félix will team up with Cristiano Ronaldo, his Portuguese national team captain, in what is being seen as a major boost for the club’s attacking options and the Saudi league’s global appeal.
The deal is part of Al-Nassr’s continued effort to attract elite European talent, as the Saudi Pro League ramps up efforts to become a global football destination.
A medical and official announcement are expected in the coming days as final paperwork is being completed.
