“Enough is Enough”: Verydarkman, the Voice of the Voiceless, Storms Enugu After Dangote Truck Kills Families

Story: written by springnewsng 4,2025
Popular activist, Verydarkman, has stormed Enugu State to raise his voice against the rising cases of deadly accidents caused by reckless Dangote truck drivers. His outcry follows a fresh tragedy in which over eight persons, including an entire family with a newborn baby, lost their lives within 24 hours.

According to eyewitnesses, the Dangote truck was speeding when it rammed into a mini bus and a small car, crushing the vehicles and leaving no survivors. Shockingly, after the collision, the driver reportedly rushed out asking, “Where is police?” in an attempt to report himself.

This latest incident comes barely three weeks after another Dangote truck driver was involved in a fatal accident in Edo State, killing a graduating student of Auchi Polytechnic. In response to that tragedy, Verydarkman and members of the Ratel movement had raised funds to construct speed-limit barriers in Auchi—a project he personally sponsored—to help curb such disasters.
Speaking in Enugu, Verydarkman lamented that avoidable deaths have become too frequent on Nigerian roads while the government looks the other way. He called on the Federal Government to urgently regulate and monitor heavy-duty trucks before the situation gets out of control.
“For how long will poor Nigerians continue to lose loved ones because our leaders refuse to take responsibility for securing lives and properties? Enough is enough,” he declared.
