According to insider information obtained by SpringNewsNG, the PMF 1 team, led by Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Aliyu Adejembi, was deployed to Lagos for special assignments involving the Chinese businesspersons when the incident occurred. In response, the IGP has issued a formal summons to the Provost of PMF 1 in Kaduna, DSP Adejembi, and the implicated officers, requesting their appearance at Force Headquarters for an internal review.
