BREAKING:Jigawa delegate dies hours before commencement of party presidential primary
One of the APC delegates from Jigawa state, Alh Isa Baba Buji, has died in Abuja.
Late Buji who is also the chairman of APC in Jigawa central died before the election of the presidential candidate of APC in Abuja.
He was said to have slumped at the State Liaison Office at FCT, while getting ready to go to the venue of the convention.
Vice President Yemi Osinbajo has since expressed his condolence over the sudden demise of Buji. A tweet from Osinbajo’s spokesperson, Laolu Akande, reads;”VP Osinbajo saddened by news of the death this afternoon, in Abuja, of Alh. Isa Baba Buji, 61, one of our APC delegates from Buji Local Government, Jigawa State. He extends heartfelt condolence to his family, associates, govt & people of the State & prays his soul rests in peace”
