Zamfara Attack: Hijab-Clad Terrorists Abduct Eight Residents in Dansadau Community

The incident occurred in the early hours of September 7, 2025, on the outskirts of the town.
Security analyst Zagazola Makama revealed in a post on X (formerly Twitter) that the attackers wore hijabs to infiltrate the community before whisking away the victims.
Troops, supported by local vigilantes, immediately launched a pursuit but were unable to make direct contact with the fleeing terrorists. However, a bag containing brassieres and hijabs used as disguises was recovered during the chase.
The abduction has heightened concerns over the growing trend of terrorists using unconventional disguises to evade detection during attacks in northern Nigeria.
