WWE Superstar Naomi has revealed she is expecting her first child with husband and fellow wrestler Jimmy Uso, bringing joyful news to fans while officially stepping away from in-ring action.
The 37-year-old broke the announcement live on Monday Night Raw, telling the crowd she is seven weeks pregnant. In a dramatic segment, Naomi initially refused to hand over her Women’s World Championship before ultimately relinquishing the title, vowing to return in nine months to reclaim her spot at the top of the division.

Backstage, WWE Chief Content Officer Triple H congratulated the couple in a video post, writing:
“Couldn’t be happier for @TheTrinity_Fatu & Jimmy @WWEUsos! Some things matter more than championships. #WWERaw.”
Naomi later shared more details on Stephanie McMahon’s What’s Your Story podcast, admitting the pregnancy came as a surprise after years of fertility challenges. She revealed she had undergone an oophorectomy in 2012 to remove her right ovary, followed by a myomectomy five years later to remove fibroids.
“On top of being 37 and only having one ovary, we thought that naturally I couldn’t anymore,” Naomi explained. “I found out on August 10 while on the road. I called Jimmy right away, but then I stressed about having to tell work, especially as the champion. Of all times.”
Jimmy Uso shared that Naomi initially worried she had let her fans down, though her feelings soon turned to joy. Naomi acknowledged she will face a high-risk pregnancy requiring closer medical care but assured fans that “everything is looking good.”
The announcement quickly sparked reactions across the WWE locker room. Women’s Intercontinental Champion Becky Lynch jokingly teased Naomi as “irresponsible,” echoing her own experience in 2020 when she vacated the Raw Women’s Title during pregnancy.
Naomi captured the Women’s World Championship in July and steps away during one of the most successful runs of her career. Despite the hiatus, she promised fans she will return:
“This isn’t the end. I’ll be back.”
