After parting ways with Manchester United back in November, Cristiano Ronaldo decided to sign for Saudi Arabian club Al Nassr on a two-year deal.
The man behind his move to Al Nassr is Saudi Arabia’s crown prince Mohammed bin Salman, who is considered to be one of the richest men in the world.
Who is Mohammed bin Salman?
The heir to the throne of Saudi Arabia is 37 years of age and has a fortune valued at 300 billion euros.
He studied law at King Saud University and is the one who pushed for the country to take a step forward in terms of human rights.
For example, he is a great advocate of women attending football games and he is also in favor of them enjoying rights to everyday things such as driving or being in the labor market, something that did not happen until recently.
Mohammed bin Salman’s love of luxury
He is the owner the most expensive property, the well-known Chateau Louis XIV, located near Versailles and for which he paid around 275 million euros. The doors of the house are bathed in gold, and the property includes several swimming pools, wine cellars and even a subway aquarium, something which is unique in Europe.
Mohammed bin Salman is also known for his luxurious whims, owning one of the most complete and expensive yachts in the world. The yacht in question has an estimated value of around 500 million euros and includes space for a submarine.

Mohammed bin Salman has now made his last wish come true, which was none other than to see Cristiano Ronaldo wearing the Al Nassr jersey.
He managed to get the club to pay no less than 200 million euros a year for the Portuguese star, this being the highest salary a football player has ever received.
