“Why are they doing the canvassers like this? Our leaders are wicked. We Ikorodu people came out en masse and we are the main reason why APC got so many votes and almost won Peter Obi in Lagos, But we have not been paid yet, we are not going to vote on Saturday if we are not paid our money with immediate effect,” one of the protesters said
Thought the Labour Party (LP) presidential candidate, Peter Obi won his All Progressives Congress (APC) rival, Bola Tinubu, in Lagos State, Tinubu triumphed in Ikorodu LGA.
The former Lagos governor polled 50,353 votes while Obi garnered a total of 28,951 in the council area
