The United Kingdom Embassy in Nigeria has announced significant changes in the management of its visa application centres, with a new supplier set to oversee their operations.
In a statement posted on its X (formerly Twitter) account on Tuesday, the embassy revealed that the transition might temporarily alter the locations where applicants submit and collect their documents.
“The supplier of our visa application centres in Nigeria is changing. During this transition, some customers may submit and collect their documents from different locations. You will be contacted via email if this affects you,” the embassy announced.
Despite the ongoing transition, the embassy confirmed that visa application centres in Abuja and Lagos remain functional. However, it reiterated that applicants must schedule appointments before visiting any of the centres.
The embassy also assured the public that those affected by the changes would receive specific instructions through email to minimize disruptions.
For further information and updates, applicants are encouraged to consult the official visa application website.
This development comes as part of the UK’s efforts to streamline its visa services in Nigeria, ensuring better efficiency and accessibility for applicants.
