TVC Extends Second Invitation to VeryDarkMan, Shares Proof of First Invite Amid Deeone’s Allegations

TVC, a prominent Nigerian TV station, has clarified its position regarding the ongoing VeryDarkMan (VDM) vs Deeone dispute, revealing that it had already extended an invitation to the social media critic, Martins Otse, also known as VeryDarkMan, on February 15.
The announcement comes after BBNaija star Deeone made serious allegations against VDM during an interview on TVC’s Weekend Breakfast Show on February 15. In response, VDM demanded to be interviewed on the show to address the accusations, prompting several of his supporters to flood TVC’s Instagram with calls for the TV station to give him a platform.
On February 18, TVC took to its social media pages to clarify that an open invitation had already been extended to VDM on February 15 to respond to Deeone’s claims. The station shared a clip of the show presenter announcing the invitation, noting that they would also hear VDM’s side of the story.
In the statement, TVC confirmed that the interview with VDM is scheduled for Saturday, February 22, to allow him the opportunity to defend himself against the allegations made by Deeone.
“TVC News already extended an open invitation to Martins Vincent Otse, popularly known as VeryDarkMan, on Saturday, February 15th, following allegations made by comedian Deeone during our Weekend Breakfast Show as captured in the clip herein,” the TV station wrote. “We are using this avenue to reiterate the open invitation and are anticipating a direct message from VDM to confirm his willingness to come on the TVC Breakfast show next Saturday, 22nd February, to share his side of the story.”
With the stage now set for both parties to present their sides, the ongoing drama between VDM and Deeone is set to continue with major attention on the upcoming TVC interview.
