The transfer details of Victor Boniface’s move from Bayer Leverkusen to AC Milan have been revealed, with both clubs reaching a verbal agreement on the deal.
According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, the Nigerian striker will join the Italian giants on an initial loan deal, which includes a €30 million buy option that is not mandatory.
Romano confirmed the update on Wednesday via his official X account, stating:
“AC Milan and Bayer Leverkusen are preparing formal documents after reaching a verbal agreement for Victor Boniface. The deal is structured as a loan with a €30m buy option clause, which is not mandatory. AC Milan are now in direct talks with Boniface’s agent over personal terms, the key final step to complete the move.”
Boniface’s representatives are currently negotiating personal terms with the Rossoneri, with final agreements expected soon before the deal is officially announced.
The 23-year-old Nigerian forward has been one of Bayer Leverkusen’s standout performers, and his potential switch to Serie A is seen as a major boost for AC Milan’s attacking options ahead of the new season.
