Cristiano not for sale
Cristiano Ronaldo’s future is in doubt, but Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag insists he’s going nowhere this summer.
“He is not with us due to personal issues. We are planning with Cristiano Ronaldo for this season. That is it,” said Ten Hag.
“I am looking forward to working with him. Cristiano is not for sale. He is in our plans. We want success together.
“I had a good talk [with Ronaldo]. That [what was said] is between Cristiano and me, what I can confirm is we had a really good conversation together
Kane to replace Lewandowski?
According to German publication Kicker, Bayern Munich are weighing up the option of signing Tottanham Hotspur’s Harry Kane as a replacement for Robert Lewandowski.
Lewandowski has reiterated his desire to leave Bayern thoughout the summmer and with a move to Barcelona looking all but certain.
Having been resigned to losing their star striker, Bayern have turned their attention to Kane who they view as an ideal replacement. However, with Kane under contract until 2024, Bayern may be put off by the striker’s price tag
Man City set to pinch Kounde from Chelsea?
Manchester City could be set to join the race for Sevilla’s Jules Kounde.
According to Mundo Deportivo, City boss Pep Guardiola is a fan of the French center back and with Chelsea reportedly interested in Nathan Ake, could see Kounde as the ideal replacement.
Rooney to take over at DC United
Former Macnhester United forward Wayne Rooney is set to take over at struggling MLS side DC United.
Multiple sources indicate that Rooney has been communicating with the club for weeks now and annoucment is imminant.
Rooney recently resigned from his post as Derby County manager with the club struggling financially and now relegated to the third division of English football.
Neves a possible alternative for De Jong?
With a deal for Frenkie de Jong seemingly at an impasse, Manchester United could turn to Wolves midfielder Ruben Neves as an alternative.
According to Fabrizo Romano, United have Neves on a shortlist but are unwilling to match Wolves’ 100m euro asking price.
Any deal for Neves is also contigent on whether or not United can land De Jong.
Raphinha is on his way!
Leeds and Barcelona have reached an agreement for Raphinha. The deal is thought to be worth 75m euros in all.
Dembele to sign at Barcelona until 2024
Ousmane Dembele is currently without a club, but the Frenchman has landed in Barcelona to sign a new deal at the Camp Nou. He will pen a contract until 2024
