On Wednesday, WWE superstar and Women’s Champion Rhea “Mami” Ripley officially confirmed on Instagram that she’s engaged to her boyfriend, AEW star Buddy Matthews. Ripley’s post has since gone viral, with so a lot of her fans, friends, and fellow coworkers congratulating her. 

Rhea Ripley has been involved in an on-screen relationship with Judgment Day member Dominik Mysterio. However, she has been in a real-life relationship for a couple of years now. They met each other in WWE in 2020 and quickly fell in love. Both Matthews and Ripley made their relationship official last year in May. The couple have been happily together for almost 3 years and are now engaged to be married!

Yesterday, Rhea Ripley took to Instagram to announce that she just got engaged with AEW star, Buddy Matthews. In the post, she uploaded a selfie of them together at the beach, with Ripley kissing the Matthews’ cheek. It was evident that she was extremely happy, as she said “Yes” a thousand times over

Her post has gone viral among the wrestling community, where her fans as well as her friends and other WWE wrestlers congratulated her in the comment section

Despite being in different promotions, the couple often share quite a few posts together, showing their relationship. Ever since they made their relationship public, Ripley and Matthews have become one of the most loved couples in the world of professional wrestling.

On the other hand, Ripley has been involved in an on-screen relationship with fellow Judgement Day member, Dominik Mysterio. The two have been able to make a name for themselves as a couple so far. However, it will be interesting to see how their storyline progresses in the coming few weeks.

Ripley had previously confirmed that she thinks of Dominik as a really good friend and that her heart belongs to Buddy Matthews. While there’s really no doubt that the relationship between Dominik and Rhea Ripley is simply work-related and they all are simply friends in real life, it’s still funny for some fans to point out that Matthews may have been getting worried that Dom was getting too close to Ripley and proposed as soon as possible
