Nigerian track and field star Tobi Amusan made a strong start to her medal quest at the Paris Olympics by winning the women’s 100m hurdles heat race.

Amusan has now advanced to the semi-finals of the women’s 100m hurdles.
The Nigerian track and field athlete, who debuted at the Olympics in Tokyo three years ago, currently holds the world record for the women’s 100-meter hurdles with a time of 12.12 seconds, set at the 2022 World Athletics Championships in Eugene, Oregon
