THE HERECIES OF DR. ABEL DAMINA AND WHY YOU SHOULD FLEE FROM HIM
When Dr. Abel Damina denounced the devilish prosperity gospel he had believed and preached, many welcomed it with excitement. But unknown to them, Satan the father of lies and trickery was at work. It was only Satan the spirit of darkness pretending to be the angel of light in his treasured servant, Mr. Damina.
Don’t be fooled when Damina criticises the damnable errors of super heretics like Pa Adeboye and Mr. Oyedepo, the stench of his own heresies reaches the third heaven.
Damina teaches many profound errors but I shall only examine a few of them and rebut them with the scriptures. By the way, this piece is just the part one of a two-part series.
- God is not in heaven
Hear the AntiChrist called Damina:
“God does not live in heaven. That’s why your goal should not be heaven. If your goal is heaven, it’s a stupid goal….If there was a day when God created the heaven and earth, where was He before that day? Anywhere He was, that is where He is. Because He said I am the Lord, I changeth not. It is the man Jesus in heaven”
What Satanic balderdash! True, God is omnipresent. Yes, heaven is His geographical or literal dwelling place.
Jesus when He was teaching what we call “The Lord’s prayer” began with “Our Father in heaven.”
Who could know where the Father was better than Jesus?
Stephen at his martyrdom testified God the Father was in heaven with Jesus standing by His right hand( Acts 7:56).
In Isaiah 66:1, God is quoted as saying heaven is His throne. Stephen in Acts 7:49 quoted Isaiah 66:1 to reiterate the literal presence of God in heaven.
Pray, what spirit then inspires Damina to hold and teach a different thing? The spirit of Satan of course.
- Moses and angels connived to write the law
Damina, I hear, disregards Moses and the Old Testament. He thinks the patriachs of the Old Testament were confused persons who taught things based on their misunderstanding.
But neither Jesus nor the apostles had any disregard for the Old Testament and its saints. They knew the Old Testament was a shadow of the New Testament. They knew that the Old Testament was symbolical of New Testament.
Jesus challenged the Jews in John 5:39 to search the Old Testament scrictures as they testified of Him. Jesus in Luke 24:27 showed how the Mosaic writings and the declarations of the Old Testaments prophets pointed to Him.
Peter, Paul and Stephen preached Jesus from the Old Testament. A lot is wrong with Damina.
- Noah was not commanded by God to build the ark.
What crazy talk this is. Genesis 6:13-14 calls you a liar, Mr. Damina. Read verse 14: “Make thee an ark of gopher wood; rooms shalt thou make in the ark, and shalt pitch it within and without with pitch.”
Hear Genesis 6:22: “Thus did Noah; according to all that God commanded him, so did he.”
God did not only instruct Noah to build an ark, He also gave him the measurements and defined the pattern the ark must have.
What a man of disgrace Damina is.
- Water Baptism Is swimming
Mr. Heretic Damina, I hear, dismisses water baptism, which evidently from the scripture is a believer’s way of openly declaring that they have come to the Lord.
Jesus commanded in Matthew 28:19 for His followers to baptise people as they spread the Gospel. In Acts 2:38, Peter told his listeners to repent and be baptised. In verse 41 those that received the word were baptised.
In Acts 8:38, Philip baptised the Ethiopian nobleman after the latter had affirmed that he had believed the gospel. Paul in Acts 9:18 was baptised after his conversion. In Acts 10:48, Peter instructed the household of Cornelius to be baptised. I can go on and on and show more passages in Acts and even the epistles to emphasise the importance of water baptism.
- God does not kill
Damina presents to his bewitched listeners, a wrathless sky daddy whom he calls God. The God Damina preaches is different than the real God described as consuning fire in Hebrews 12:29. Hebrews 10:31 says it is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.
God said in Deutoronomy 32:39:
“See now that I, even I, am he, and there is no god with me: I kill, and I make alive; I wound, and I heal: neither is there any that can deliver out of my hand.”
In Genesis 6:13, God said He would destroy the earth with flood. And He did so as recorded in Genesis 7:17-24. In Genesis 18, Abraham had a conversation with God about His plan to destroy Sodom and Gomorrah. And in the next chapter, God destroyed the two cities. In Exodus 12:29, God is reported to have killed the firstborn sons of the Egyptians. But Damina says God does not kill. To Damina, God is too loving to destroy anybody for their sins. Damina is telling us He knows God more than God Himself.
Paul the Apostle said in 2 Corinthians 5: 11; “knowing the terror(fear) of God, we persuade men. The writer of Hebrews said in Chapter 12 Verse 29 of that book; “For our God is a consuming fire.” But Mr. Damina wants us to believe in a wrathless God.
Jesus in Matthew 10:28 said to fear God who can destroy both the body and the soul in hell. But the “almighty,” “ all-knowing” Damina would have us believe otherwise. Well, Mr. Damina is not really almighty and all-knowing. He is rather a deceiving, a rebellious and a blasphemous preacher.
Damina says, God does not kill or destroy, and to obfuscate the fact that he is a deceiver, he says God only withdraws His presence from the offender. This might seem like an innocuous or trivial error to those who do not think deep. But it is serious. Damina is by implication saying he knows God the Father more than the apostles of old. He is saying he knows God the Father more than Jesus . He is actually telling his gullible followers that He knows God more than He knows Himself. Damina is placing himself above God. He is more or less committing the form of the sin of pride which was found in Lucifer when he first rebelled against God. What insolence! What blasphemy! What nonsense! Bros, you no dey fear?( To be continued)
P.S Matthew 7:15 says; Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.
