Soludo Slams Trump: “Should Africa Invade America Over Racist Killings?”

Governor Chukwuma Soludo of Anambra State has strongly criticized former U.S. President Donald Trump over his recent threats to invade Nigeria to punish those allegedly responsible for attacks on Christians.

Speaking during an interview on Channels TV’s Sunday Politics, which was monitored by The Whistler in Awka, Soludo questioned the logic behind Trump’s statement, describing it as hypocritical and misplaced.

“What are you coming to Nigeria to do?” the governor asked. “To beat the policeman, the government, or take over policing? Should Africa also invade America each time a Black man is killed unjustly by the police?”

Soludo said such remarks reflect a deep misunderstanding of Nigeria’s internal affairs and the complexities of its security challenges. He urged world leaders to focus on promoting global peace and justice rather than issuing threats against sovereign nations.
