“It was never politics, but they keep coming for me, they keep coming for my family, they keep coming for your father, they keep coming for Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the greatest president in the history of Nigeria,” Seyi stated.
He further praised Tinubu for being the only president who has prioritized the welfare of the youth and created an economy that benefits everyone. According to Seyi, Tinubu is not focused on personal enrichment but on uplifting the nation.
“He is the only president that has kept your people at home, the only president that considers youths, the only president that created a platform for young people to fly. The only president that created an economy that has benefitted everybody, the only president that is not trying to enrich his own pocket,” he added.
However, Seyi’s remarks have been met with criticism from activist and politician Omoyele Sowore.
Sowore accused Tinubu of being a terrible president who has worsened Nigeria’s economy. He claimed that 7.2 million businesses have shut down since Tinubu assumed office due to poor economic policies that have weakened the naira.
Taking to social media platform X, Sowore expressed his dissatisfaction with the administration’s handling of the economy and blamed Tinubu for the financial struggles faced by many Nigerians.
