Atalanta are reportedly set to part ways with manager Ivan Juric, just days after a heated on-field clash with forward Ademola Lookman.
According to football transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano, the Serie A club is in advanced discussions with Raffaele Palladino to take over as the new head coach.
Romano posted on X:
“Atalanta are in advanced talks with Raffaele Palladino to become the new head coach. Ivan Jurić, on the verge of being sacked.”
The potential dismissal follows an incident during Atalanta’s Champions League match against Marseille, when Juric and Lookman were involved in a confrontation after Lookman was substituted.
The disagreement escalated to the point where coaching staff had to intervene and separate the two, highlighting tensions within the squad.
