President Tinubu To Address Nigerians On June 12, Democracy Day
Presidential spokesman, Chief Ajuri Ngelale, in a statement on Tuesday, urged television, radio, and other electronic media outlets to join the network services of the Nigerian Television Authority and the Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria (FRCN) for the broadcast.
President Bola Tinubu will address the nation in a broadcast on the occasion of Democracy Day at 7am on Wednesday, June 12, 2024.

The President did not address the nation on May 29.
The Special Adviser to the President on Information & Strategy, Mr Bayo Onanuga, on May 28 said President Tinubu would address a joint session of the National Assembly on Wednesday, May 29 to celebrate his first anniversary as Nigeria’s leader.
However, a statement issued by the Special Adviser to the President on Media & Publicity, Ngelale later described Onanuga’s statement that Tinubu would address a joint session of the National Assembly as false.
Ngelale said the Office of the President was not involved in its planning, therefore, it was not authorised.
He said, “In view of public commentary concerning the President delivering a speech before a Joint Sitting of the National Assembly tomorrow, May 29, 2024, it is important to state that this information is false and unauthorized as the Office of the President was not involved in the planning of the event.
“In furtherance of his commitment to delivering good governance, President Bola Tinubu has embarked on the inauguration of strategic projects across the country.
“More transformative projects will be inaugurated by President Tinubu’s administration for the benefit of all Nigerians
