President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is set to return to Abuja on Tuesday, September 16, 2025, after ending his working vacation in Europe earlier than planned.

The President, who left Nigeria on September 4, 2025, was expected to spend ten days between France and the United Kingdom, with the holiday originally slated to end on Friday, September 19.

In a statement issued on Monday, Presidential spokesperson Bayo Onanuga confirmed that Tinubu concluded his engagements ahead of time and would resume official duties immediately upon arrival.

While in Paris last week, Tinubu held a private meeting with French President Emmanuel Macron at the Élysée Palace. Both leaders reportedly discussed areas of bilateral cooperation, reaffirming commitments to strengthen ties in trade, security, and global stability.

The early return underscores Tinubu’s readiness to refocus on pressing national issues as he resumes work at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.
