Police parade 15 suspects arrested in Imo forest, recover Biafran currency, other items

During the operation, the police recovered various weapons, including an AK-47 rifle with 21 rounds of live ammunition, charms, a cut-to-size double barrel short gun, four locally made short guns, three rounds of live ammunition, substances suspected to be cannabis sativa and hard drugs, a militia camouflage T-Shirt, and an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) from the suspects

The CP emphasized that the arrest of the 15 suspects was a result of continued investigations following revelations from a notable IPOB/ESN suspect recently apprehended by the Command’s Anti-Kidnapping Squad.
“On searching the suspects and their hideout, one AK-47 rifle loaded with 21 rounds of live ammunition, charms, one cut-to-size double barrel short gun, four locally made short gun, three rounds of live ammunition, weeds suspected to be cannabis sativa, suspected hard drug substance, one militia camouflage T-Shirt, one Improvised Explosive Device IEDs, one Guinea fowl with fetish items on it, One POS Device used in extorting money from their potential victims, and various denominations of Biafra currency were recovered.
The suspects will be arraigned in court upon completion of a comprehensive investigation
