Popular Nollywood actress, Peggy Ovire, has removed the name of her husband, actor Frederick Leonard, from her Instagram bio, further fuelling rumours of a possible breakdown in their marriage.

The change, noticed by fans on social media, comes amid ongoing speculation that the celebrity couple may have gone their separate ways. Frederick Leonard’s name, which previously appeared on Ovire’s profile, is no longer visible.

As at the time of filing this report, neither Peggy Ovire nor Frederick Leonard has issued an official statement to confirm or deny the separation rumours.

The actors, who tied the knot in 2022, have not been seen together at public events for several months. They have also reportedly stopped celebrating each other’s birthdays on social media, a departure from their past practice.

Recall that whispers of marital trouble first surfaced in December 2024 when Peggy Ovire shared a Christmas photo of herself wearing pyjamas, noticeably without her husband.
