Panic in Lagos as Fire Engulfs UBA Branch, Workers Leap from Building to Escape Flames

Lagos Island — Chaos erupted on Monday when a fire broke out at the United Bank for Africa (UBA) branch on Lagos Island, sending staff and customers into panic.
The blaze, which started under yet-to-be-determined circumstances, quickly spread through parts of the multi-storey building. In videos circulating on social media, terrified employees were seen attempting to escape through windows, with some leaping from the upper floors in desperate bids to survive.
