Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen has expressed his joy after achieving two remarkable milestones in Galatasaray’s 3-1 win against Bodo/Glimt during their UEFA Champions League Group Stage clash at RAMs Park on Wednesday night.
Osimhen struck early in the 3rd minute and added another in the 63rd minute, sealing a brace that helped the Turkish champions secure all three points.
With his latest feat, the 26-year-old became the first Galatasaray player to score in seven consecutive European matches, surpassing a record he previously shared with Burak Yilmaz.
In addition, Osimhen now holds the record as the fastest-ever goal scorer for Galatasaray in a UEFA Champions League game.
Speaking after the match, the Super Eagles forward credited his teammates for their role in his success.
“I don’t achieve these milestones alone — it’s a team effort,” Osimhen told the club’s official website. “Huge thanks to my teammates and our fans for their constant support. We’ll keep pushing forward together.”
Osimhen’s impressive form continues to make headlines as Galatasaray strengthen their bid for a place in the knockout rounds.
