Fresh concerns have emerged in Ondo State as employees of Tantita Security Services have urged the company’s CEO, Government Ekpemupolo, popularly known as Tompolo, to address claims of unpaid salaries spanning two years.
The workers recently staged a peaceful protest at the palace of High Chief Adekanmi Adegbola, the Lisa of Idepe-Okitipupa, holding placards to express frustration over the prolonged delay in payments.
In a viral video circulating online, one of the employees, Dagunro Sola, appealed directly to Tompolo to intervene and ensure that all affected staff in Ondo State receive their due salaries.
Speaking to the protesters, Chief Adekanmi urged them to remain calm and assured that he would engage relevant authorities to help resolve the matter.
The protest comes amid earlier complaints from Ikale youths in Ondo State, who had raised concerns about the leadership of Tantita Security’s state coordinator, Idowu Asonja, and called for his removal.
Asonja has yet to respond to the allegations, and Tantita Security Services has not issued an official statement. However, a source familiar with the matter, speaking on condition of anonymity, said the company intends to work with community leaders to address the concerns raised by employees.
