Nollywood Actress Doris Ogala Attempts Suicide Over Pastor’s Broken Marriage Promise

Nollywood actress Doris Ogala reportedly attempted suicide after discovering that Pastor Chris Okafor of Grace Nation Bible Ministry ended their relationship and became engaged to another woman.
In distress, Ogala stabbed herself in the hand, causing severe bleeding. Actor Digidi Dunhill, who was seen helping her to the hospital, appealed for urgent assistance, saying, “Please, I don’t know who this Chris is. Whoever you are, please come to her aid. Doris, are you trying to end your life?”
Ogala shared her heartbreak following a video of Pastor Okafor’s engagement on December 13, 2025, accusing him of betraying her despite promising marriage. She claimed their relationship, which began in 2017, was marked by personal and emotional exploitation.
The actress alleged that she once became pregnant for the pastor, and accused him of taking money from her, leaking intimate videos, and forcing her to leave a previous marriage. She expressed anguish over the betrayal:
“After everything, after promising me marriage and turning my life upside down, you now want to marry someone else? We have been together since 2017. Who will marry me after sharing my miscarriage video? My intimate video with you was circulated through your lawyer to mine. After exposing my private life, you now plan to marry another woman. Was I behaving like this before you met me?”
The incident comes just days after Pastor Okafor, known as the generational prophet, publicly got engaged to another woman, intensifying Ogala’s emotional distress.
