Nigerians Suffering From Economic Hardship – Sheik Jingir
Sheikh Sani Yahaya Jingir, National Chairman of Jama’atu Izalatil Bid’ah Wa Ikammatis Sunnah (JIBWIS), highlighted the prevailing economic hardships faced by Nigerians. Speaking at the opening of the 27th annual National Qur’an competition at the University of Jos, he stressed the urgent need for government intervention in various sectors.
“Nigerians are suffering, and immediate government action is crucial in areas such as the economy, healthcare, and security,” Sheikh Jingir stated, urging politicians, especially legislators, to craft effective laws ensuring affordable healthcare for citizens. “It is essential for the government to alleviate the economic and health-related hardships faced by Nigerians,” he emphasized
In a goodwill message, Senator Ahmad Aliyu Wada, representing Nasarawa South, underscored the importance of fearing Allah and the role of education in fostering national unity and peaceful coexistence. He encouraged Muslims to embody the teachings of the Qur’an, promoting love, patience, and peaceful coexistence among individuals with diverse beliefs.
“Living in accordance with Qur’anic principles is vital. We must promote Islamic ideals through our character and peaceful coexistence, even with those who do not share our faith,” Senator Wada admonished
