Once a beacon of humor and entertainment, Nedu now finds himself at the center of an intense controversy, dragged by many following his public feud with Verydarkman.

The weight of social pressure, online criticism, and personal struggles can push even the strongest minds into darkness. Depression is real, and we have seen cases where it drives people to the edge. As a nation, we cannot afford to watch another talent fall victim to the devil’s schemes. James 4:7 reminds us to “resist the devil, and he will flee from us.”

Amid growing concerns, Pastor Ezekiel Obinna of the True Holiness Christian Bible Church, Lagos, Nigeria, has called for urgent prayers for Nedu, urging believers to intercede on his behalf. Speaking during a live broadcast, the cleric emphasized the need for spiritual support, warning that negative forces are working against the broadcaster’s peace and well-being.

“This is a time for the church to rise,” he declared. “The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but we stand in the gap for our brother. No weapon formed against him shall prosper!”

Despite the current controversy, The Honest Bunch remains a platform that has been highly educative and impactful in many ways. We cannot allow it to go down just like that. I remember when Dr. Abel Damina was invited—so much deep information about the Christian circle was revealed. The hidden agenda of top ministers in the church system was exposed, and necessary corrections were made. And that was just one of many instances where The Honest Bunch has contributed positively rather than negatively to society.

I urge Nigerians to overlook whatever drama the devil has used the flesh of Nedu to cause and instead, focus on the bigger picture—the value and enlightenment this platform has brought.
