Nigeria Releases N3bn to Fund Super Eagles’ AFCON 2025 Campaign
The Nigerian government has released N3 billion to support the Super Eagles’ campaign at the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco.
According to SCORENigeria, the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) expects additional funds to cover the team’s rising tournament expenses.
The NFF has also approved a $30,000 bonus for each player for reaching the Round of 16, with extra incentives set if the team defeats Mozambique in their next match.
Eric Chelle’s squad will face Mozambique at the Complexe Sportif de Fès on Monday. If victorious, the Super Eagles are set to meet either Algeria or the Democratic Republic of Congo in the quarterfinals.
