Neymar Disappointed After Ancelotti Leaves Him Out of Brazil Squad

Neymar has expressed frustration and sadness after being omitted from Brazil’s squad by head coach Carlo Ancelotti for upcoming international friendlies.

The Brazil national football team released its squad list on Monday ahead of matches against France national football team and Croatia national football team, with Neymar notably absent.

Ancelotti explained that the Santos FC forward was left out due to concerns over his physical condition, stating he is yet to reach full fitness.

Speaking at an event in São Paulo, Neymar admitted the decision was difficult to accept but maintained a positive outlook.

“I feel upset and sad about not being selected, but I remain focused on improving every day—training and playing,” he said.

The former FC Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain star added that he is still hopeful of making a return, stressing that his dream of representing Brazil remains alive.

“There is still another opportunity ahead, and I believe things can change. I will keep working hard,” Neymar added.
