New Defence Minister Christopher Musa Assures Nigerians of Improved Security

Nigeria’s newly appointed Minister of Defence, General Christopher Musa (retd), has assured citizens that the nation is safe and secure, promising that noticeable improvements in national security will be felt soon.
Speaking to journalists in Abuja shortly after his swearing-in on Thursday, General Musa emphasized the need for enhanced coordination among the armed forces and security agencies, stressing that security is a collective responsibility.
The former Chief of Defence Staff revealed that President Bola Tinubu has tasked him with ensuring that Nigerians can live without fear, return to their farms, and send their children to school safely.
“My immediate priority is to restore the Defence Ministry to its rightful role in protecting the country. I assure Nigerians that tangible results will be achieved in the shortest possible time. I can guarantee that Nigeria is safe and secure,” he stated.
