Fresh evidence obtained from the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) has further implicated Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Minister Nyesom Wike, his personal lawyer Ferdinand Orbih, and Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) stalwart Sandy Onor, among others, in a growing land-grabbing scandal in Abuja.
Sources revealed that Sandy Onor, who served as the PDP governorship candidate for Cross River State in the 2023 elections, is a director in ALEED Construction Limited, holding 500,000 shares. Onor is described as a close confidant of Wike. Similarly, Orbih, a personal legal representative for Wike in several controversial cases, also owns 500,000 shares in ALEED Construction Limited.
Additional revelations from the CAC documents exposed Kingsley Chinda, Minority Leader in the House of Representatives, as a serving director in the same company. Chinda reportedly holds a significant 8,000,000 shares in ALEED Construction Limited, which was registered in 1997 and operates from Port Harcourt, Rivers State.
The company’s stated business objectives include building construction, property development, and the supply of building materials. However, sources allege that Wike has used ALEED Construction Limited and other front companies to allocate revoked lands in the FCT to his associates, raising serious concerns about abuse of office and corruption.
A Systematic Scheme
The documents outline a troubling pattern: lands belonging to ordinary citizens are revoked and then discreetly reallocated to entities linked to Wike
