Liverpool have reached an agreement to sign 17-year-old Austrian centre-back Ifeanyi Ndukwe ahead of the 2026 summer transfer window.
According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, the deal between Liverpool and Austria Wien Academy, Ndukwe’s current club, has been finalized and will take effect from July 2026.
The young defender has also committed to the project at Anfield, with the Premier League club viewing him as a major prospect for the future.
Born in Vienna, Austria, in March 2008 to a Nigerian father and a German mother, Ndukwe is eligible to represent Nigeria, Austria, and Germany at international level.
Liverpool’s capture of the teenager adds a promising talent to their defensive ranks as they continue to invest in youth prospects.
