Lagos Police Deploy Officers Amid Plans for Youth Protest on Third Mainland Bridge

The Lagos State Police Command has heightened security across key locations in the state following intelligence suggesting that youths in the Oworonshoki axis intend to stage a protest on the Third Mainland Bridge.
A statement issued on Monday by the Command’s Public Relations Officer, SP Abimbola Adebisi, confirmed that proactive measures have been implemented to avert any disruption of public order.
Adebisi noted that officers have been strategically deployed to protect motorists, ensure the uninterrupted movement of traffic, and safeguard lives and property.
The Command urged Lagos residents to stay calm and continue with their daily activities without anxiety. It further encouraged cooperation with security operatives positioned to swiftly counter any emerging threats.
The police reiterated their commitment to maintaining peace and ensuring traffic flows smoothly throughout the state.
