I Speak the Truth – Doris Ogala Refutes Chris Okafor’s Claim of Lies
Nollywood actress Doris Ogala has rejected claims by Pastor Chris Okafor, founder of Grace Nation Bible Ministry, that she lied in her allegations against him.
The dispute began when the actress accused the preacher of failing to fulfill a promise to marry her, prompting legal action through her lawyers at Synergy Law Partners. In her demand dated December 16, 2025, she sought N1 billion in compensation.
The situation escalated earlier this week when Okafor’s children made further claims against her. On Sunday, addressing his congregation, Pastor Okafor issued an apology to Ogala and others he had offended.
“To the lady called Doris Ogala, mistakes have been made in the past and I tender apologies to everybody. There are so many lies in most of the things that were said, however, I am saying sorry to everyone I have offended,” he said.
Okafor added, “To Doris Ogala, I am so sorry and I apologize. I am ready to make restitution to anyone that I have offended.”
Reacting to the apology, Ogala took issue with the preacher’s assertion that she lied. In a Facebook post, she said she forgives him but rejected the claim of falsehood.
“Chris Okafor, I forgive you but there is a problem where you said everything is a lie. I have a problem with that because I don’t lie,” Ogala wrote.
