Story: written by Amarachi April 2,2026
A strong security presence has been deployed across Jos as President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is scheduled to visit Plateau State on Thursday to sympathize with residents following the recent Palm Sunday attack in Jos North Local Government Area that claimed 28 lives.

Security operatives have been stationed at key points across the city, including major entry routes such as the Mararaba Jama’a roundabout, which serves as a primary gateway into Jos from Bukuru. Authorities also reinforced security around important roads leading to government offices and other strategic locations.

Other heavily monitored areas include Zaramanda roundabout, Hill Station roundabout, and several major intersections within the Jos metropolis.

The deployment is part of heightened efforts by security agencies to maintain peace and ensure the safety of residents and the visiting president during his condolence visit.
